Thu Jul 19, 2012
The patriarchal paradigm is increasingly less relevant.
Capitalism loses fans thanks to recession
Fri Jul 13, 2012
Because the resources you use exploit when using 'your' money belong to all of us. There is a thing called the commons that must be protected. Also, you might not have the foresight to use 'your' money in ways that benefit society, and society must protect its future by enforcing a positive long-ter …
Inmate serving life sentence won't be charged in killing of another prisoner
Tue Jul 3, 2012
Justice is not about consequences or vengeance. It's about responsibility. The logic behind this decision says if we can't exact some revenge then we shouldn't pursue justice. This prosecutor shows a huge misunderstanding of his role.
Fracking called both a savior and a scourge
Thu Jun 21, 2012
Restricting fracking will increase pressure to develop renewable energy. Since we need renewable energy and the burning of fossil fuels is altering our planet's climate and causing huge economic and human problems, restricting fracking is a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

Tue Dec 6, 2011
Good lord, no kidding! And the grammar - she 'landed... into the water'. Does MSNBC not hire journalists or do journalism schools not teach people the language any more?
Obama tells blacks to 'stop complainin'' and fight
Sat Sep 24, 2011
BS! Obama is for all of us. Just because he speaks to the Black caucus and identifies with them doesn't mean he's neglecting anybody else. He speaks for me and millions of other white people in this country. What's good for African Americans is good for European Americans, too.

No, this is ridiculous.
Zero tolerance = zero brain.
At six years old a child does not even have a fully formed ego. He can't be expected to understand the implications of bringing his knife to school nor to benefit from any punishment that results. At that age it is the responsibility of his parents to know what he is doing and the responsibility of …
